coinor-libipopt1 software package provides Interior-Point Optimizer, for large-scale nonlinear optimization, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install coinor-libipopt1
coinor-libipopt1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the coinor-libipopt1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep coinor-libipopt1 *
You will get with coinor-libipopt1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
